Mike Bauern becomes Agile Sourcing Partners Chief Operating Officer

Agile Sourcing Partners is pleased to announce that Mike Bauern has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Mike joined Agile in October of 2021 as Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions and his excellent work in this critical area set the stage for his promotion to COO.

Mike is a results-driven and experienced leader has twenty years of progressive leadership roles managing annual spend in excess of $800M and is adept at networking and partnering with C-suite executives as an executive business advisor on business strategy development.

In his previous role as Agile’s VP of Supply Chain Solutions, Mike was responsible for the creation, implementation, and management of industry-leading integrated solutions in both the gas and electric utility and construction markets. Mike’s tireless work resulted in the delivery of innovative, flexible, and value-driven solutions through a highly skilled, motivated, inclusive and results-focused team.

Prior to joining Agile Sourcing Partners, Mike worked for nearly 18 years in progressive leadership roles with Southern California Edison (SCE). At SCE, Mike was responsible for overall procurement operations and the execution of category strategies throughout the Direct Materials Procurement team, which represented approximately $600M in annual spend.

Mike’s responsibilities at SCE included oversight and operation of SCE’s Integrated Supply Model, which leverages Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) practices and world-class strategies to support operations throughout its 55,000 square mile service territory.
